Each stream in the catalogue was connected to, decoded and verified before it shipped, and the list is rebuilt from live checks rather than copied from a stale directory.

Candidate stations are discovered from open radio directories, then put through a pipeline that most radio apps skip: each stream is connected to and decoded to prove it actually plays; duplicate feeds of the same station are collapsed so the list stays clean; off-genre stations that sneaked in under a loose tag are rejected by hand-tuned filters; and no single network is allowed to dominate the dial, so you get genuine variety instead of one broadcaster's fifty channels. Station artwork comes from the broadcasters' own sites, and stations without usable art get a clean monogram tile instead of a broken image.

Why is a station sometimes unavailable? Live internet radio drops — servers restart, shows end, streams move. When that happens the app automatically moves you to another station in the same style, and persistent failures are removed from the catalogue.
